Basketball Youth Program

21st Century Native is committed to helping Native athletes develop their skills on the court and reach the next level, at school and beyond. Through our basketball clinics, camps, training, and team we have carried out this goal for the past 6 years.

We say that basketball is the unofficial Native sport and we enjoy giving Native athletes the opportunity to play at a competitive level. Throughout the years, we have hosted basketball events and were able to start a H.S. boys' team. In 2022, we focused on training young athletes for their upcoming school season, and their hard work paid off.

We were asked at various times if we would ever do a girl's team, something we have always considered. After this past season, and with interest from parents, we are happy to say we finally will have a H.S. girls team for NABI 2023. We will take a break from H.S. boys team and focus on the girl's team going forward. We are excited for the season ahead and to see the development of our new athletes.

Native American Heritage Month

Happy Native American Heritage Month! This will be our 4th annual celebration for Native heritage. Due to the current times, we are not able to hold any events, so we will be taking to our social media to help celebrate our Native heritage.

Our organization is focused on encouraging and supporting Native people toward success. We continue to strengthen our 4 Native pillars, Family, Sovereignty, Knowledge, and Community. We want to continue to support and encourage our Future Leaders and help our Communities thrive.

We hope this month Natives will continue to see success in their lives and in their communities. Check back throughout this month's as we celebrate Native American Heritage Month!

Future Leaders

21st Century Native was created to help Native people find success by encouraging and supporting future leaders to create thriving Communities.

Our goal is to see the next generations go after their visions and goals, to build a life that benefits themselves, their families, and their Communities. We build on what past generations have envisioned and we want to continue to create a strong foundation for the next generations.

During our 5th year of operating, we want to continue to help Native people thrive by teaching the skills that will help bring success, like goal setting, communication, and coping. We will continue to put on events that are positive and supporting of Native Communities.

"Future Leaders" is about seeing Native people become leaders in their passions. We want individuals to achieve their goals and become their best self and live their best life.

Once we can, we will be back out in the Community to help encourage and support individuals toward success. We look forward to reaching out to new areas and doing more workshops and classes to reach various age groups. Until then, we hope that our online presence will help individuals efforts toward success.
