Our focus for 2025 is continuing to have our Arts and Crafts Market for artists and vendors to showcase their work. Our markets are helping create community, by meeting new people and catching up with family and friends. We also will continue to work with Native athletes, this year is focused on our HS girls team. Our goal is to allow Native athletes to play competitively and develop their skills. 21st Natives will continue through the summer by playing at the NABI tournaments in July. We want to continue our presence through social media, encouraging individuals to live their best successful lives. We want to focus on Native culture, especially the O'odham community, being members, we want to support our community and support members to engage and carry on our values for the next centuries. We look forward to new opportunities and continuing the organization's efforts to support Native people toward success.

2023 has given 21st Century Native a new hope going into 2024. Post the pandemic, we see the struggles that Native people are facing, both the same struggles to new ones. Our goal has always been to support and encourage Native people towards success at home, school, and in their careers.

We plan to focus on the various challenges we see within our communities. We have been in the community and heard the challenges hindering our community. We want to be a resource while individuals go after their goals or for individuals who want to see change.

Our focus will continue to be on the youth, we see the challenges they are facing at home, school, and in the community. We will continue to support their futures and want to see them be the next leaders. With a new program focused on leadership, we hope to be a resource as our youth go after their goals and find success.

Community is important for Native people to be successful. Our goal is to have more community-oriented events and gatherings. From our family events to the new Markets, our basketball program, and new outings for individuals to enjoy themselves.

We look forward to getting started as 2023 closes and look forward to crossing paths with many goal-oriented people.

21st Century Native is committed to helping Native athletes develop their skills on the court and reach the next level, at school and beyond. Through our basketball clinics, camps, training, and team we have carried out this goal for the past 6 years.

We say that basketball is the unofficial Native sport and we enjoy giving Native athletes the opportunity to play at a competitive level. Throughout the years, we have hosted basketball events and were able to start a H.S. boys' team. In 2022, we focused on training young athletes for their upcoming school season, and their hard work paid off.

We were asked at various times if we would ever do a girl's team, something we have always considered. After this past season, and with interest from parents, we are happy to say we finally will have a H.S. girls team for NABI 2023. We will take a break from H.S. boys team and focus on the girl's team going forward. We are excited for the season ahead and to see the development of our new athletes.

If there is any interest, we encourage anyone to look at our Sports Program and reach out for more information. Reach out at info@21stcenturynative.net and 480-708-9259.
